DETROIT, MI – On Friday February 5th, 2021, at approximately 7:55 p.m., in the area of W. 7 Mile Rd and Santa Rosa, there was a road rage incident involving two men that resulted in an exchange of gunfire between the two of them.

As a result, one of the drivers, a 24-year old man, was stuck by gunfire. He was conveyed to the hospital by officers and is currently listed in critical condition.

He also had passengers in his vehicle that included another adult and several children. Fortunately they were unharmed. Three of the children ran from the vehicle when the incident occurred but were found and are safe with family.

The other driver fled from the scene in a dark color Chevy Impala north on Stoepel then north on Livernois. He was described as a black male, light complexion with a long beard, wearing a black hoodie with glasses.
