DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is requesting the publics’ assistance in identifying and locating two male suspects wanted in connection to an unarmed robbery that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Thursday, February 18th, 2021, at approximately 2:30 p.m., in the 15200 block of Livernois Ave, two unknown male suspects pulled into a Project Green Light Gas Station in a black Ford Fusion. One of the suspects exited the vehicle while the second suspect remained in the vehicle. Moments later, suspect one approached a delivery person who was unloading his truck, pushed him down, and then threw two cases of cigarettes in the vehicle, dropping one of them, before driving away. Shortly after, the suspects returned, and suspect one exited the vehicle again and picked up the remaining boxes of cigarettes, and then drove away.

The suspects responsible for this incident are described as follows:

Suspect 1: a black male, medium complexion, slim build. Last seen wearing a burgundy coat, light colored ripped blue jeans, and black and gold gym shoes.

Suspect 2: a black male, dark complexion, medium build. Last seen wearing a blue surgical mask, black hat, red plaid shirt.
