PONTIAC, MI – On Wednesday February 24th, 2021, Oakland County Sheriff Deputies responded to the PNC Bank in the 40000 block of Woodward Avenue on the report of a teller alarm.

Prior to their arrival deputies were informed that the bank had just been robbed. Deputies contacted the bank teller who stated that an unknown black male came to her window and placed a note on the counter demanding money. The teller handed over approximately $1500 dollars.

Deputies reviewed video footage which showed the suspect fleeing on foot northbound across MLK Jr. Boulevard, the subject entered a small dark colored SUV. The vehicle was last seen headed east on MLK. 

Detectives responded to continue with the investigation. The FBI was notified and will begin their investigation. The bank was able to provide detectives a photograph of the suspect as he entered the bank. 

The unknown suspect is a black male, dark complexion, 5’9”, heavy set, late 20’s early 30’s. Suspect was last seen driving a small dark colored SUV possibly a Chevrolet Equinox.
