DETROIT, MI – On Sunday, March 7th, 2021, at approximately 5:00p.m., at the Exxon gas station in the 900 block of Mack Avenue, an 18-year-old man was inside of the business when the driver of a white Jaguar pulled up to a gas pump and got out, leaving the suspect, who was seated in the front passenger seat, inside of the vehicle.

As the victim came out of the gas station, he and the suspect both produced handguns. The suspect began firing shots through the windshield of the Jaguar. The victim was struck by those flying bullets.

After the shooting, the victim ran from the location. The driver of the Jaguar drove off, with the suspect who remained in the passenger seat, heading north on the Chrysler Freeway Service Drive.

The victim was privately conveyed to the hospital and listed in stable condition.

The suspect was described as a black male light complexion, wearing a red jacket with a black hoodie.

The driver was described as black male, dark brown complexion, dreadlocks, wearing a white jacket and blue jeans.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated. No further information is available at this time.
