DETROIT, MI – On Friday March 12th, 2021, at approximately 7:40 p.m., in the 17800 block of Mount Elliott Street, the three victims were gathered at the location for a ceremony following a funeral.

At the ceremony an argument began inside, which then spilled outside. As a result of the argument multiple gunshots were fired by unknown suspect(s), three men were struck, ages 40, 32 & 35. All three were privately conveyed to local hospitals and were listed in temporary serious condition.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated. Anyone with information pertaining to this crime is asked to call Detroit Police Department’s Eleventh Precinct Investigative Unit at 313-596-1140, 313-596-1101 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up.
