DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating suspects wanted in connection to a carjacking that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Tuesday, March 03, 2021 at approximately 2:56 a.m. in the parking lot of a gas station (Green Light Partner) located in the 12600 block of Linwood, the 47-year-old male victim allowed a female suspect into his black 2010 Ford Focus. After a conversation, she exits the vehicle and walks over the suspect’s vehicle. As the victim follows her, suspect # 1 and # 2 exit their vehicle, assault the victim and take his car keys. The female enters the suspect’s vehicle and suspect # 1 enters the victim’s vehicle. Both vehicles then flee the scene. Suspect # 2 was seen fleeing the scene on foot. Medics made the scene, but the victim refused medical treatment.

Suspect # 1: Black male, wearing a gray and black jacket, gray pants with designs on the front.

Suspect # 2: Black male wearing a tan jacket with a hooded sweater underneath and dark colored pants.

Suspect # 3: Black female, wearing a gray and blue coat, dark colored hooded jacket underneath, purple scarf and blue gloves.

Suspect # 4: Black male, wearing a black hat and all black clothing. Driver of suspect’s vehicle (silver Honda Accord with a spoiler on the back and black after-market rims).
