ROSEBUSH, MI – On Tuesday March 23rd, 2021, at approximately 4 p.m., troopers from the Mount Pleasant Post were dispatched to the Mobile gas station in Rosebush for a suspicious vehicle complaint.

During the investigation, troopers requested the Mount Pleasant Post Canine Unit to respond to the scene. Canine “Red” alerted to the presence of narcotics inside of the vehicle. Troopers conducted a search of the suspicious vehicle discovering methamphetamine, concealed weapons, ammunition, and other drug paraphernalia. While arresting the male subject, a 31-year-old Traverse City man, he attempted to destroy evidence. The suspect was also in violation of his probation.

The man was lodged at the Isabella County Jail for drug, weapon, and probation violation charges. His arraignment is pending.
