DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department needs the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a Person-of-Interest wanted in connection to a non-fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s west side.

On March 29th, 2021, at approximately 4:28 a.m., in the 9300 block of N. Martindale, an unknown suspect approached the 60-year-old male victim outside of the residence and started a conversation. The suspect then produced a weapon and fired shots, striking the victim in the body, then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital by medics and was listed in stable condition. It is believed that the Person-of-Interest was near the location at the time of the incident and may have information regarding this crime.
