DETROIT, MI – On Wednesday March 31st, 2021, at approximately 6:50 p.m., a Detroit Fire Department fire truck was traveling west bound on E. Outer Drive with lights and sirens activated when it collided with the driver of a Lincoln Navigator in the intersection of E. Outer Drive and Dequindre.
As a result of the collision, the fire truck struck another vehicle, a Dodge Ram, that was parked at a gas station as well as, a gas pump. The driver of the Navigator also lost control and struck a pole.
Three firemen were conveyed to a local hospital, along with the driver and passenger of the Navigator, and the driver and passenger of the Dodge Ram. All were listed in stable condition.
