Non-fatal Shooting Gratiot and Antietam

DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department needs the public’s assistance with information regarding a a non-fatal shooting that occurred on the city’s east side.

On March 27th, 2021, at approximately 5:00 a.m., a 60-year-old woman was driving her white 2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio northbound on Gratiot near Antietam, when she observed two vehicles, one being a silver Chevy Impala and the other a dark colored sedan, behind her driving at a high rate of speed. The victim then heard multiple gunshots and felt pain. She was transported to a local hospital by medics and treated for a graze wound to her body caused by that gunfire.
