DETROIT, MI –The Detroit Police Department needs the public’s assistance in identifying and locating three suspects and a person-of-interest wanted in connection to a carjacking that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Saturday, March 27, 2021 at approximately 1:45 a.m. at the gas station in the 15400 block of W. Seven Mile Rd., the 31-year-old male victim was seated in his white 2017 Hyundai Sonata when he was approached by the suspects. One of the suspects assaulted the victim with an object and forced him out of his vehicle. Suspect # 1 fled in a gray Pontiac Grand Prix east on Seven Mile. Suspect # 2 fled in the victim`s vehicle west on Seven Mile and suspect #3 fled in a silver Mercury Mariner east on Seven Mile. The victim was transported to a local hospital for his injury and has since been released. The victim’s vehicle was recovered.

Suspect # 1: Black male, medium build, wearing a black hooded sweater, red pants with a black stripe on the side and black shoes.

Suspect # 2: Black male, 6’0”, slim build, wearing a black hooded sweater with a red “V” on the back and red letters on the front, black jeans and black shoes.

Suspect # 3: Black female 5’8” wearing a black hat, red hooded sweater, two chains around her neck, blue jeans and black/white/green shoes.

Person-of-Interest: Black female, 5’10”, heavy build, long blond hair, wearing a light colored “Nike” shirt, black pants and pink/white/black “Nike” shoes. She was at the location at the time of the incident and may have information regard this crime.
