DETROIT, MI – A total of nine people in 3 days have been shot in separate incidents in the city. Four of those have lost their lives to gun violence. This trend is very disturbing.

On Friday April 9th, 2021, at approximately 3:35 p.m., in the 3400 block of Fairview two men, ages currently unknown, were fatally shot in the parking lot of the location by two unknown suspects.

No further information at this time.

On Wednesday April 7th, 2021, at approximately 1:19 a.m., in the 15000 block of Ward, a 64-year-old man entered the location and began shooting, striking three other men.  A 24-year-old man was shot and killed.

On Tuesday April 6th, 2021, four people were shot where another person lost their life.
