DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a Person of Interest in connection to a fatal shooting of a that occurred on the city’s east side.
On February 22, 2021 at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of Gray Street, neighbors heard multiple gun shots in the area then saw a 19-year-old man laying in the street. Officers arrived to the location and found the victim unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. Medics also responded and transported the victim to the hospital where he was unfortunately pronounced deceased.
Detroit Police Investigators needs assistance locating a Person of Interest who may have information pertaining to this crime. The Person of Interest was observed with the victim prior to the shooting. He is described as a black male, wearing a blue colored jacket, black jeans, and brown boots.
