DETROIT, MI – On Saturday April 10th, 2021, at approximately 9:41 p.m., in the area of Dexter and Oakman, the Detroit Fire Department received a call for service, activated their overhead lights and sirens and began to exit the fire station.

A dark colored Chevy sedan, possibly a Cobalt or Cruze was blocking their path from exiting the driveway. They used the fire engine’s air horn and the vehicle moved out of their path. As the fire truck drove past the suspect’s vehicle, they heard shots and discovered the fire truck was struck by bullets. No injuries were reported. 

The suspect’s vehicle was last seen westbound on Oakman Blvd. from Dexter. The driver of the suspect’s vehicle is described as a black male medium afro, last seen wearing an orange shirt or jersey and the passenger was described as a black female, light complexion, last seen wearing a turquoise top.  

Five shell casing were recovered from the scene.
