CADILLAC, MI – On Friday, April 9th, 2021, at approximately 1:00 a.m., troopers from the Michigan State Police (MSP) Cadillac Post stopped a vehicle on 13th Street near N. Mitchell Street in Haring Township for a moving violation.
Troopers observed a hypodermic needle sticking out of the passenger’s left forearm and a capped hypodermic needle on the passenger seat next to him. The passenger, a 36-year-old Greenville man, indicated the syringe was loaded with a heroin rinse and he did not require medical attention.
The driver, 39-year-old Sarah Kay Conley, from Belding, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Plastic grocery bags were also observed coming out of the void in the driver side door. A search warrant was obtained, and the car towed to the Cadillac Post for processing. Conley was arrested and lodged in the Wexford County Jail. The passenger was released.
Sarah Conley was arraigned on Friday April 9th, 2021 in the 84th District Court in Wexford County for one count Maintaining a Drug House, Second or Subsequent Offense Notice, one count Driving While License Suspended, Second or Subsequent Notice, one count Operating Motor Vehicle without Security, one count Unlawful Use of Registration Plate, and Habitual Offender Second Offense Notice. Her bond was set at $25,000 cash surety. Conley’s next schedule court appearance is on April 27, 2021.
