DETROIT, MI – It was reported that Shaviah Bassett last seen today Saturday, April 17th, 2021, at approximately 5:00 p.m., in the 19600 block of Appleton Street.
Her step mother and father reported that she left home, has failed to return and this is the first time she has gone missing.
Shaviah is described as a 14-year-old, female, 5’5”, 140 lbs., has brown eyes, and shoulder length black hair. She was last seen wearing a light grey hoodie, light grey pants and possibly wearing a green bonnet.
It was reported that she is in good physical condition and has not been diagnosed with any mental health conditions. However, it was reported that her parents are concerned for her safety because they have reason to believe she may be harming herself.
