Detroit Police involved in Shooting

DETROIT, MI – Dramatic video of the suspects and Detroit Police was released late Monday afternoon following a press conference concerning officers involved in a shooting between theoffiers and the suspects that was exchanged on Sunday April 18th, 2021 at approximately 10:40 pm. The incident took place in the area of W. McNichols and Ward.

An unknown vehicle drove by and occupant(s) inside fired multiple shots, striking the victims. Shortly after a driver of a silver Chevy Malibu, occupied by four individuals drove off from the scene and struck a burgundy Cadillac sedan, that was travelling westbound on Ward. All occupants in the Malibu fled from the scene on foot. The driver of the Cadillac was pronounced Dead at the Scene. His passenger was injured and is listed in critical condition.

The five shooting victims were conveyed to local area hospitals are a 36-year old man who is listed in stable condition, a 32-year old listed in critical condition, an 18-year old man is in temp serious condition, a 29-year old man is listed as being in stable condition, and a 30-year old woman is in temp serious condition.
