MANISTEE, MI – A woman is wanted in Manistee County after the court ordered her children be removed from her custody and she fled the area with them.
Police in Manistee state that a court order to remove Kimberly Berrentine’s children was ordered on Thursday April 22nd, 2021 at 3:00pm. When Law enforcement and CPS attempted to pick up the children, they learned that Kimberly fled in her vehicle with the four children to an unknown location.
One of the children was located on Friday April 23rd at a home in Midland. The other three children are still missing.
She is believed to be driving a silver 2008 Chevrolet Malibu with a damaged rear passenger door and no license plate, police said.
The three missing children are Trevor Alan-Peter Edens, 12, Talissa Lynn Berrentine, 8, and Tallyn Leigh Smith, 6.
Trevor is described as 4 feet, 10 inches tall and 80 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Talissa is described as 4 feet tall and 65 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Tallyn is described as 4 feet tall and 50 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
It has been reported to Manistee Police that Kimberly Berrentine is suffering from drug withdrawal, is hallucinating and was driving erratically.
