DETROIT, MI – On Friday April 23rd, 2021, at approximately 12:10 a.m., in the 16400 block of Belton Street, Detroit Police officers arrived at the location for a shooting.

When arrived they found a 34-year-old man sitting in the driver’s seat unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the body. The man’s vehicle had crashed into a silver Chrysler 300 and a red Jeep Compass resulting in minor damage. 

Medics responded to the location and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The suspect(s) responsible for this incident is unknown at this time.  The circumstances surrounding this incident are still being investigated.
