DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department needs assistance in locating and identifying two unknown male suspects wanted in connection to a double shooting on the city’s east side.

Preliminary on Friday, April 23rd, 2021, at approximately 4:45 p.m., in the 10000 block of Mack Ave, the victims were inside the location when words were exchanged between one of the victims, a 19-year-old man, and suspect #1, resulting in suspect #1 producing a weapon and shooting the victim (1).

As a result of the shooting, an innocent bystander, a 46-year-old man, victim 2, who was also inside the location, sustained a gunshot wound to the body. It was previously reported that a third victim was also shot. However, after further investigation the third victim wasn’t shot, but sustained an injury during the incident. Victim 3 refused medical attention at the scene. After the shooting, the suspect fled from the location on foot with a second suspect who was also armed with a weapon.

The 19-year old man was privately conveyed to the hospital and listed in stable condition. Victim 2 was conveyed by medics and listed in stable condition as well.

Suspect 1: Stands approximately 5’7”, 150 lbs, 18-20 years of age, medium complexion, black hoodie, red stripe on each shoulder, red writing on front. Tan colored pants, black & white shoes. Black face covering.

Suspect 2: Stands 5’9’’-5’11’’, 170 lbs. 18-20 years of age, medium complexion, black hair (short-medium dreads with sides/back fadded) black t shirt with white lettering on front, black & green camouflage pants, purple gym shoes, multiple tattoos on both arms.
