WARREN, MI – Monty Heath was only 25-years-old when his life was taken by an allegedly super drunk driver on Sunday April 25th, 2021.

Heath’s 2008 Pontiac G6 was struck head-on by a 2000 Mercedes SUV being driven by 39-year-old Anthony Dicicco at a high rate of speed, at about 10:30 p.m., on southbound Groesbeck Highway. Dicicco went to turn left to enter southbound Hayes Road at I-696 when his vehicle crashed head-on into Monty’s.

Monty Heath was taken to Ascension St. John Hospital in Detroit where he was pronounced deceased.

The Cass Tech Football team posted the following to social media:

The life on Monty Heath will be celebrated on Saturday May 1st, 2021 at Detroit World Outreach starting at 10:30AM.
