FRENCHTOWN TOWNSHIP, MI – Troopers from the Michigan State Police Monroe Post are seeking the public’s assistance in obtaining any information that will lead to the identity of an armed robbery suspect. The incident occurred on Sunday May 2nd, 2021, at the Circle K convenience store located at 2700 North Dixie Highway in Frenchtown Township. The suspect entered the store three separate times between 6:30 a.m. and 7:05 a.m.

Upon arrival on scene, troopers determined the following sequence of events: A white male wearing a black Carhart jacket, dark colored pants, black shoes, black Under Armor gloves, and a maroon ski mask/beanie entered the convenience store and approached the front counter. The suspect, armed with a knife, demanded money from the store clerk which she refused. The suspect then left the store on foot without obtaining anything from the clerk. He was then chased by two citizens through the Detroit Beach Subdivision but was not caught. The suspect was last seen heading south on North Dixie Highway from Grand Blvd. 

The suspect is described as a thin-built white male with medium/long length dark hair.
