DEARBORN, MI – On Tuesday, May 4th, 2021, at approximately 9:00 PM, Dearborn Police responded to the area of Oakman and Michigan on a report of a shooting that just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers found that a 24-year-old male had been shot several times. He was conveyed to Beaumont – Oakwood, where he succumbed to his injuries. A second subject was also located that had been shot as well, but had minor injuries. He was treated and released from the hospital.
The investigation revealed that a group of subjects engaged in a verbal and physical altercation with the suspect. The suspect (pictured below) produced a handgun at which time the two victims were shot. The suspect, considered armed and dangerous, fled the area in what is believed to be a Chevrolet Impala, blue in color as seen in the video below.
Chief Haddad stated, “We will leave no stone unturned and will utilize all available resources to solve this heinous crime. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims. I urge the community to speak out and help us bring the person responsible to justice.”
