DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a male suspect wanted in connection with a home invasion that occurred on the city’s west side.

On Saturday, April 25, 2021, at approximately 11:20 p.m., in the 3300 block of Leslie St, a male suspect used an unknown object to break into the rear window of the residence. The suspect then entered the basement, where he proceeded to take two space heaters. The thief then fled the location through the rear door.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a dark jacket with small writing, gloves and a facemask.
