DETROIT, MI – Two men in their early 20’s were sitting in a vehicle on the Westside of Detroit in the area of 7 Mile Rd and Evergreen. An unknown gunman walked up to the vehicle where he fired multiple rounds inside. One of the victims was shot and killed.

On Friday May 14th, 2021, at approximately 7:25p.m., in the 18700 block of Shaftsbury, two men, in their twenties, were sitting inside of a vehicle when a suspect walked up and open fired, striking both victims.

As a result, one of the victims has died due to his injuries. The second victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was privately conveyed to the hospital where he was listed in temporary serious condition.

The suspect is described as a black male, his age is mid 20s. He is 5’10, heavy build 220-230lbs. He is Armed and Dangerous.
