DETROIT, MI – The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted in connection to a double shooting where one man was shot and killed the other is in the hospital in temporary serious condition.

The shooting took place on the city’s westside. On Friday May 14th, 2021, at approximately 7:25p.m., in the 18700 block of Shaftsbury, two men were sitting inside of a 2007 Nissan when the male suspect walked up and fired several rounds into their vehicle, striking both victims.

One of the victims was pronounced deceased, the second victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was privately conveyed to the hospital and listed in temporary serious condition.

The suspect is described as a black male, mid 20s, 5’9, medium brown complexion, wearing a black hoody, black pants and has a blue cast on his arm. The suspect is considered Armed and Dangerous.
