DETROIT, MI – On Sunday May 16th, 2021, at approximately 9:20 p.m., in the 16600 block of Mark Twain, a 26-year old man was attempting to assist his sister who had gotten into a physical altercation with her 25-year-old ex-boyfriend. At some point during the argument, the victim was shot by the sisters ex-boyfriend.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The 25-year old male was arrested.
