DETROIT, MI – Timothy Charles McGhee Jr., 22-years-old, of Detroit, has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of Morgan Dawkins, 19-years-old, and the non-fatal shootings of Angel Davis, 19-years-old and Tyree Harris, 28-years-old, also of Detroit.
On May 19th, 2021, at approximately 12:45 p.m., Detroit police officers were dispatched to a gas station at the intersection of Conant Street and East Outer Drive in Detroit for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers located Ms. Dawkins lying face down and unresponsive and the two surviving victims with apparent gunshot wounds. All three victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Ms. Dawkins succumbed to her wounds and was pronounced deceased.

Timothy McGhee Jr. has been charged with one count of First Degree Murder, six counts of Assault with Intent to Murder, and seven counts of Felony Firearm. He may be arraigned today after 11:00 a.m. in 34th District Court in Romulus.
