PONTIAC, MI – On Saturday June 12th, 2021, at 7:30 a.m., Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 100 block of Granada Dr. on a report of a subject who had been intentionally hit by a vehicle.

Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the victim who stated that his ex-girlfriend intentionally ran into him with her vehicle. The victim stated he was walking in the street when he observed the suspect driving toward him at a high rate of speed. As the suspect got close to him, she swerved her vehicle in his direction intentionally hitting him with her vehicle. The suspect was yelling at him as she was driving toward him. The victim fell to the ground temporarily losing consciousness. The victim had multiple lacerations to his arms and legs as a result of the assault. He also had a potentially broken ankle.   

Paramedics from Star EMS arrived on scene and transported the victim to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Deputies located the suspect vehicle based on information from the victim as to the suspect’s home address located in the 100 block of Cottage St. in the Spring Lake apartment complex. The vehicle was parked around the corner from the suspect’s home.

While inspecting the suspect’s vehicle, which had fresh damage as a result of the assault, Deputies observed the suspect near her actual address. Deputies took her into custody. Detectives were called to the scene to continue their investigation. The suspect’s vehicle was impounded, and the suspect was lodged at the Oakland County Jail pending the issuance of criminal charges.
