PONTIAC, MI – The Oakland County Sheriff’s Crash Investigators Unit is seeking witnesses for a hit-and-run motorcycle
crash that left a 17-year-old Pontiac teen in critical condition.

The accident happened about 8:52 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Houston Street and Lull Street in Pontiac. The teen was operating a 1993 Harley Davidson Sportster 883 eastbound on Houston Street when it collided with a Zhejiang Leike motorcycle traveling in the same direction. The operator of the Zhejiang motorcycle left the scene and has not been identified. Neither motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The Harley driver was taken to McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac where he is in critical condition.

It was the second motorcycle accident of the day in Pontiac in which Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for witnesses to come forward.
