Detroit Drug Trafficking

DETROIT, MI – On Tuesday July 27th, 2021, the County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) executed three search warrants in Detroit that are part of a Drug Trafficking Organization investigation.

In total, 20 pounds of marijuana, 63 doses of fentanyl, 2 firearms, one stolen and one with the serial number removed, and one dose of ecstasy was located. $57,282 cash was seized with intent to forfeit.  Three suspects were arrested and lodged at the Detroit Detention Center.

COMET was assisted by the Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team (MNET), MSP Emergency Support Team, Metro South Post, and the FBI Macomb Violent Gang Task Force.
