PONTIAC, MI - Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies on Thursday May 3rd, 2018, at 2:30PM, responded to the 200 block of High St. for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, Deputies observed a subject performing CPR on a man lying on the ground in the side yard of a residence. Deputies took over CPR until Paramedics from Star EMS arrived on scene.\r\nA woman on scene stated that the victim was her boyfriend who had been shot by a subject she knew by name. The suspect fled the area after the shooting in a black SUV.\r\nThe victim, identified as Austin Scott Reinhardt,\u00a023-years-old, of White Lake Township, was determined to be beyond help and was pronounced dead at the scene.\r\nDeputies began canvassing the area for any potential witnesses. Deputies were able to obtain the full identity of the suspect. He has been identified as Demarcus (Marcus) Miles, 20-years-old, of Pontiac.\r\nIt was at that time that Oakland County Sheriff's Detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation. Detectives confirmed the identity of the suspect, Marcus Miles, after conducting several interviews with potential witnesses to the shooting.\r\nA video was posted to social media shortly after the murder took place. The person who video taped at that time is commended for being respectful to the situation and not trying to glorify a very tragic situation.\r\nMarcus Mile's vehicle was located outside a motel in the City of Auburn Hills but he was not there. The suspected gunman was later located at a residence on Parkdale St. in the City of Pontiac. He was taken into custody and transported by Detectives to the Substation for an interview. After the interview Marcus Miles was transported to the Oakland County Jail and lodged pending the issuance of criminal charges. Formal charges are not expected until Saturday.\r\nAustin Reinhardt, most recently, was using the screen name of Diego Delgado on social media. He was also known to use the alias of Ace Boog. Austin was a father to three young children that he leaves behind.
