HARING TOWNSHIP, MI - Troopers from the Cadillac Post were dispatched to a residence on Cecil Road in Haring Township on Monday February 4th, 2019, at about 10:00AM, in response to a home invasion call.\r\nThe troopers, assisted by Wexford County Sheriff's Deputies, learned that three children, ages 15, 14 and 12, were at home when a man in his underwear entered the house carrying a television. Around the same time, the children's parents arrived home, removed the children from the house and called 911.\r\nTroopers and deputies entered the residence and located 27-year-old Anthony Billett, of Cadillac, inside. Billett was clothed only in his underwear and a sweatshirt, which was on backward. He was also barefoot, scratched and bloody from the knees down.Troopers also located a 50" television which Billett had allegedly just stolen from Walmart inside the victim's home. Upon further investigation it was determined the Anthony Billett has also alledgedly stolen clothing items from Mejier just prior to the theft of the TV from Walmart.\r\nAnthony Billett was lodged in the Wexford County Jail. The case information was turned over to the Wexford County Prosecutors Office. The prosecutor charged Billett with one count of Home Invasion, one count of Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property $200-$1,000, and two counts of Retail Fraud. He was also charged with being a Habitual Offender. He is being held on a $115,000 bond.
