DETROIT, MI - Robert Davon McLendon, 29-years-old, of Detroit, is being charged in connection with a shooting incident in the Hazelwood Ave area.\r\nOn December 5th, 2018,at 2:00 a.m., Detroit police officers were dispatched to canvas the area of Hazelwood because of a report of multiple shots being fired. They observed a man later identified as Robert McLendon in the 3240 block of Hazelwood running toward Wildemere. McLendon was ordered to stand down, and placed him into custody. A handgun and a magazine were recovered in the area by the police.\r\nIt is alleged that on December 5, 2018 in the early morning hours, Robert McLendon shot into a house in the 3200 block of Hazelwood while the three female residents were inside the home. It is believed that he also shot into the home of an 84-year-old woman. No further information is being released by WCPO at this time because other aspects of the case remain under investigation.\r\nMcLendon is facing the following charges: four counts of Assault with Intent to Murder; two counts of Carrying a Dangerous Weapon with Unlawful Intent; eight counts of Discharging a Firearm at a Building; one count of Delivery\/Manufacture Cocaine less than 50 Grams; and eight counts of Felony Firearm.
