FLINT, MI - Michigan State Police confirm that MSP and Flint Police are investigating a case of possible human trafficking in the 600 block of Freeman Avenue on the city's south side.\r\nAt approximately 3:00PM, a woman was located in the 600 block of Freeman Avenue near Euston Street, who is reportedly from Florida, and who was reported missing about a month ago in Flint. She states that she was being held hostage, beaten and raped at the Freeman Avenue house.\u00a0\r\nShe was able to escape today where she then ran to a nearby business to call for help. She reported to police that several other men and woman who have been reported as missing were being held in the house against their will.\r\nThe woman also told authorities that there were guns in the home.\r\nMSP talked with a couple on scene. Those two people have been taken away in handcuffs from the location.\r\nThe investigation has expanded.\u00a0 Police are investigating a home across the street from the original address and a home three doors down.\r\nThe Genesee County Sheriff's Office is also assisting with the investigation.
