FLINT, MI - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will continue road work on I-69 between M-54 (Dort Highway) and Center Road. \r\nCurrently, all I-69 traffic is shifted to the eastbound lanes of the highway. During the week of June 15, all I-69 traffic will be shifted to the recently reconstructed westbound lanes of the highway. MDOT estimates it will take approximately three days to complete that shift.\r\nAfter traffic is shifted to the westbound lanes, the following ramps will be closed and detoured:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tNorthbound M-54 (Dort Highway) to eastbound I-69.\r\n\tSouthbound M-54 (Dort Highway) to eastbound I-69.\r\n\tSouthbound Center Road to Eastbound I-69.\r\n\tEastbound I-69 to Center Road.\r\n\r\n\u00a0TRAFFIC IMPACT: \r\nDuring the traffic shift, work will continue on the following ramps through the end of the week, weather permitting.\r\n\r\n\tNorthbound M-54 (Dort Highway) to westbound I-69.\r\n\tWestbound I-69 to M-54 (Dort Highway).\r\n\tSouthbound Center Road to westbound I-69.\r\n\r\nAfter those ramps are complete, the following ramps will be closed and detoured:\r\n\r\n\tNorthbound and southbound M-54 (Dort Highway) to eastbound I-69.\r\n\tDetour: take Lapeer Road east to Center Road, then head north on Center Road to the ramp for eastbound I-69.\r\n\tEastbound I-69 to Center Road.\r\n\tDetour: take the M-54 (Dort Highway) exit and turn right onto southbound M-54. Turn left onto Lapeer Road and head east to Center Road.
